Beautifulness of nature and artificial texture really have important role in appearing nuance in interior design that we want. Both of them interesting, but it will more beautiful if we accurate to combine it.

Texture commonly interpreted as pattern or motif, but we can also say that texture is feeling form of material surface. Both of these textures have function to strengthen interior appearance; even can be made as point of interest in room. Both of these textures complement each other.

Nature Texture

There are three kinds of nature texture which usually use to design an interior of room. First is really nature texture. This texture placed on certain surface without process that texture material. So it appears the original texture, like seen in the nature. For example, coral stones. Wood and dry bamboo that become complement of interior element that do not paint is also included. Rustic is main idea, beautifulness in wild in form, smooth, and undefined motif.

For example is limestone that processed become marble and granite, clay become terracotta floortile, and wood that become parquet or maybe furniture element. Third type is mixed materials that processed become looks like object in the nature. For example cement that mixed with others become like stones.

Artificial Texture

Actually, artificial texture substance is also from nature, but had processed in advanced process, so nature nuance not seeing again. For example, glass, iron, aluminum, etc.

Commonly, various kind of artificial texture follow technology invention and trends desire of interior design. The thing seems in various motifs that created.

Motif and texture formed opposite from nature texture, more orderly and symmetries. So today there are motifs in geometry form, like circle, triangle, square, lines or curved in perfect form.

Try to combine several of texture (both nature and artificial) is not prohibit, but don’t get too exciting to combine it, accurate is main idea. Don’t mix without calculation of appearances.
