When you buy fire extinguisher for your home, pay attention to tube label. At the bottom, usually there is alphabet that inform extinguisher class, those are A, B, and C.
Class A – effective if use to extinguish fire from goods from wooden materials, paper, and cloth.
Class B – more effective to extinguish fire from oil or another liquid that easy to burn.
Class C – more effective to extinguish fire from electrical tools or equipment.
If there is tube with class B-C, then this tube effective to extinguish fire from easy burned liquid and electrical tools.
Exactly, there is class D, to extinguish fire from metal gods. But this class almost never used.

Remember, every fire extinguish has different range capability. Take a look the packaging, and accommodate with your needed.
