Low maintenance and longevity house become main concern of this modern retreat house design ideas. Formed into two building with connecting porch which also become center of banded boardwalk, and continuing with path to modern swimming pool beyond, this house has boxes structure and interesting interior design layout. Interesting concept is in the interior design, it is conditioned with a geo and solar thermal heating and cooling system. On the first floor of main box form building, living, bedrooms, and dining open interior design created. The secondary building is for guest above the garage. The materials are ipe, copper, weathering and stainless steel for exterior. For the interior, pine siding; ipe, basalt and cork flooring; basalt countertops and translucent glass shower enclosures.
